These are the adventures of
Bob, Fin
and Honeybun
Who love to spend lots of time together, playing and having fun
Sometimes, though, their adventures get them into scrapes
Even so, they have a wonderful life in the wood by the brooks and the lakes
Bob Rabbit
Bob is a brown haired rabbit with long, floppy ears
He believes he is the leader because he’s older than the others in years
Fin and honeybun allow their friend Bob to think that he’s the boss
Because they know if they should challenge him, he could get a little cross.
Fin Squirrel
Fin is a small grey squirrel with an extremely bushy tail
He is so good looking and loveable that his charm can never fail
Fin is a very caring squirrel, always prepared to share his food
He is nearly always smiling - you’ll never see him in a mood.
Honeybun Water Rat
The last of the friends has such a sweet name but it’s usually shortened to Hun
He’s not the prettiest in the wood so they named him Honeybun
For Hun is a dark brown water rat with a long and wiry tail
His favourite place to fall asleep is a metal water pail
Clive Spider
Clive Spider has eight long legs and is black and very hairy
You’ll find him in quite a few stories but there’s one that is a bit scary
As one day, while at the beach, Clive is stranded on a wooden raft

Doc Owl
Doc Owl looks after all the friends living in the wood
He ensures they keep as well as any woodland creature could
He mends their broken and bruised limbs and has pills to fight the cold
His medical bag is full of as many medicines that it can hold.
Francesca Frog
Francesca Frog is a very sad frog and always on her own
She spends all her time sobbing, hoping a friend would soon come along
But it’s not until Bob visits by accident that her life turns upside down
And she realises she’s loved after all and becomes the happiest frog in town.
Sylvester Frog
Sylvester Frog is a fine specimen of a frog - handsome and very strong
One day he sees the beautiful Francesca and in his eyes she can do no wrong
He wants to marry her as soon as he can and hopes she will want him too

Let me introduce to you to Millie, Fran and Grace Mouse
Who are great friends with Bob, Fin and Hun and are often at their house
One day when they were visiting, the house is blown far away

Reggie Mole
Reggie Mole gets caught in a nasty trap and even though he struggles to be free
He was so tightly caught that he knew he was as trapped as he could be
At last some friends hear him moan in pain and release him from the trap
And then the friends decide it’s time to pay the trappers back….
Alphie Fox
Alphie Fox was a very sad fox as he sat in class alone
No one wanted to be his friend but he hated being on his own
But one day young Alphie showed the class how clever he could be
And how he was able to save a life - setting an injured, trapped bird free.
